OCBG Umpires was founded by Steve Gostin, a longtime Little League coach, manager, and volunteer umpire. What started as a way to give back to the sport evolved into a growing organization that now trains and schedules umpires across Irvine and Orange County, California.
For the past three years, OCBG has provided umpires for T-ball through high school baseball, and we’re preparing to expand into softball soon.
At our core, we believe officiating should be professional, fair, and fun.
Our umpires don’t just enforce the rules—they keep the game enjoyable and safe. Most of our team members are former players and coaches, which gives us a deep appreciation for the spirit of youth sports and the importance of a great game-day experience.
